A Tour Video Blast From The Past

Thanks to Martina for sending me a link to a video I hadn't seen yet. Below is the discription as well as a link to the video (embedding was disabled)! Danke sehr!

Another of my tour footage samplers, this time for Atreyu . I was their European tour manager . This Tour was supporting Sepultura in 2003 . I have cut out and edited the live performances so not to infringe on Victory Records copyright. So it's mainly snippets of festivals and fucking around backstage etc...

The video came be seen here.

StaticMultimediaTalks To Marc About Touring

Marc McKnight spoke with StaticMultimedia about touring. Below is an excerpt.

Static Multimedia: Do you have any tour stories?

Marc: Well, there was this one girl in Miami that was just hammered out of her mind. And you know, semi-attractive, and she's just HAMMERED, like sloppy drunk, right? And she somehow makes her way on our bus. She wasn't, like, at the show with us. She just wanted to see the bands, you know what I mean? So she got on our bus and we kept trying to pass her off to one of our friends or one of the crew members but she was like, "No, I want one of the band!" And she was just like riding people and stuff. So she goes in the back with someone…who shall remain nameless, and they were, you know, enjoying themselves in the back, but she had left her phone up front. So one of our friends took a picture of his balls and sent it to everyone on her contact list and said, "Sorry, I'm busy being a nut!!" So yeah, that's a pretty good story.

A Few Pics From Atreyu's Portland Show

Three Great Pictures From Toronto

Thanks to Alyssa for sending me in three really great photos from the November 3rd Toronto show. Thanks a million Alyssa.

A Note About The Pic Of The Day

The Atreyu Pic of the Day is gonna change a bit. I will no longer be posting a new photo once a day. Instead, I will be posting 7 photos every Sunday. (See post below). I am doing this for two reasons.

First, as Atreyu continues their tour the news is getting slow. I don't want all the news posts to be nothing but pictures. Second, as I only have about 6 more months of college (my second undergraduate degree) I am getting very busy.

Of course, I will continue to update as the news comes. Please continue to send me news links when you can!

Travis Talks To Heavy.com

Heavy.com has uploaded an interview with Travis Miguel. He talks Congregation of the Damned and touring. The interview can be found here.

"I don't think there was a day where we said "This is what the album's going to sound like," it just kind of came out that way. It made sense that we were drawing from our previous work. We'd work on parts here and there and say "That kinda sounds like 2003. That kinda sounds like a couple years ago." It wasn't conscious, it just came out that way."
