One doesn’t get points for this, but we’ve been Atreyu fans for many years at ROCKLINE. Once we got a taste of what the Orange County quintet was up to we were hooked by Alex Varkatsas’ throaty growl, his stage presence exuding strength and command augmented by Brandon Saller with his melodious vocals while firmly ensconced on the drum stool only partially hidden by his massive kit. The twin guitar work of Big Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel holds its own when compared to any of the Classic bands which featured twin shredders...
