Atreyu News HQ Bonus Tracks Reviews

Thank the gods of Atreyu for releasing these. They are amazing. It only makes you wonder why they just weren't on the actual album itself. Amazing additions to an already stellar album.

We Are The Living Dead ★★★★★
This track for sure should have been on the album. It would have made a perfect addition to the whole zombie aspect of the album. It's definitely high up on my favorites for this recording session. It's heavy. It's professionally done. It's all of what Atreyu has become!

Bravery ★★★★★
This song is just great. I particularly love the last like thirty seconds of the song. The chorus is amazing and like the previous track flows perfectly well with the rest of the album. I don't know what else to say aside from it's great and very heavy (although not as heavy as We Are The Living Dead)

Another Night (Wishing I Wasn't Here) ★★★★☆
This song really feels like a great mix of what Atreyu is known for as well as some experimental (and well executed) moves. Of the three bonus tracks it's my least favorite but that said it still fucking rocks. To be honest, in a strange way this song really makes me think of AFI.

So there you go. As if 13 new epic tracks weren't enough we get three bonuses. Oh and just an amazing fact about the three bonus tracks, when added to the 13 tracks of the traditional release it makes a very wonderful full hour of brand new Atreyu awesomeness.

So if your still up in the air which bonus version to get, I'd say get the Best Buy version (or just get both). It comes with two bonus tracks (Hot Topic only comes with one) and they are the better of the three in my opinion. Not to mention, it's still only 10 bucks.

  1. I completely agree about We Are the Living Dead. With the artwork being what it as, it would have fitted in perfectly. Plus with it being one of the heavist tracks, it would have helped balance out songs like So Wrong and Storm to Pass. As for Bravery, it's just as awesome and tbh, if you're releasing a 13 track record, one more isn't going to hurt. Both tracks would have raised the album by at least an extra star for me.

I can see why Another Night wasn't included though. It just wouldn't have fitted.
